Sparkling Brut

This a very traditional style sparkling white, grown and produced by Rack & Riddle, in the cool north coast of Mendocino. It is very refreshing with a pleasant creaminess and bright acidity. It was made using all the traditional techniques of racking, riddling, disgorging etc.. It is a Brut, meaning dry, and it is composed of a blend of 5 different varieties, the majority being Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. This is how the French make it and not only that but the cool Northern Coast of California resembles the climate of the Champagne region so it is very close to making a true Champagne without being in that region of France.
